In partnership with:

JVP Play NYC is the first-of-its-kind international start up competition focusing on establishing bridges of innovation and entrepreneurship between the two vibrant innovation hubs of NYC and Israel. The competition targets two main constituencies - disruptive New York City startups that see the importance in setting up their R&D centers in Israel, and the most attractive Israeli startups operating in Israel, which are accelerating their market engagement and are seeking to establish a presence in NYC.

JVP Play NYC is an exclusive and unique opportunity to cross countries and bridge cultures. By matching the most innovative minds operating in NYC and Israel, JVP Play NYC seeks to create a powerful and unique ecosystem of innovation and business growth. The competition offers aspiring startups and entrepreneurs the unique opportunity to secure a spot in JVP's portfolio. The competition will cover a wide range of categories (full list of initial themes below) with a view to identify the most promising innovation in Israel and New York City.

NYC-based startups will gain invaluable access to the Israeli ecosystem and assistance in establishing R&D operations in Israel, while Israeli startups will gain access and exposure to the guidance, expertise and professional networks necessary to build global, market-leading companies.

Founded in February 2008, Calcalist was conceived with a vision of creating a reader-friendly publication about business, economy and local and global finance. Our motto is “connecting Israel to the economy”. We are a subsidiary of Yedioth Ahronoth Group, Israel’s largest media corporation and the publisher of its most circulated daily newspaper.

Calcalist's printed edition set the tone for the brand’s DNA, fields of interest and distinct visuals. Our website – Calcalist.co.il – enhances the scope of the printed edition’s coverage through real-time reports, a video channel and digital and interactive platforms, such as Calcalist's mobile app and social media pages.

On November 2017 Calcalist launched CTech, an English language website aiming to provide international readers with real-time and exclusive stories from Israel’s booming tech scene, that would serve them as a gateway to Israeli Tech.

Calcalist’s commitment to its founding vision catapulted it into the lead of the business media market in Israel within just one year, outperforming both leading rivals put together, as repeatedly proven by TGI media surveys. SimilarWeb ranks Calcalist Israel’s number one digital platform for business news.
